Ministries to Children & Youth

Our ministries to children and teens are extremely important to us at WaterWay.  We want WaterWay to be a place where our kids feel valued, and where they feel safe to be who they really are and become who God is calling them to be.  We strive to offer age appropriate groups and teaching for all of our kids, from newborns to teens.  A caring nursery is always provided for infants and toddlers on Sunday morning, 9:15-10:30.  We encourage older children to begin worship with us, and then following the opening songs and prayer they are dismissed.  Those in Preschool thru 3rd grade go to "KidMo" (Kids in Motion) for active learning and worship, while 4th grade & up have a group all their own.  And of course, any of the kids are always welcome to stay in worship if they would prefer.

CROSS Training Youth Ministry

CROSS Training, our weekly Sunday evening youth ministry for grades 7-12, meets weekly at FCC Rogers from 5-7pm (a van leaves the FCC Bentonville parking lot at 4:15).  The program consists of games, praise and worship, inspirational and challenging lessons, small groups and a snack supper. This award-winning program unites youth from around the area and provides meaningful opportunities to learn about Christ.

Purpose Statement:  Northwest Arkansas CROSS Training is designed to help 7th-12th grade students become fully devoted followers of Christ by offering training for them to:

Care for one another
Reach out to unchurched friends
Offer themselves in worship
Serve God, and
Study God's Word

CROSS Training has been recognized as Top 5 program in our denomination for excellent youth ministry and leadership development.  CROSS Training is the combined effort of WaterWay, FCC Bentonville & FCC Rogers.  We have a group of adult volunteers who are second to none, giving of their time and energy to help our students learn about Christ and grow deeper in their relationships with God.
